Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has yet to play in a cold weather game this season and he spoke honestly about the uncertainty he’s facing ahead of Sunday’s game with freezing temperatures expected.

The Cincinnati Bengals haven't lived up to their expectations so far this season, but they still have a chance to get hot and make the playoffs. The primary burden of that falls on star quarterback Joe Burrow, who has played some of the best football of his career this season.

Burrow, who underwent season-ending surgery on his right wrist last season, told reporters Wednesday that he's not sure how his wrist will feel with temperatures getting so low. He mentioned that Sunday will mark his first cold-weather game since undergoing the procedure in 2023.

Adding muscle while rehabbing his injured wrist and "playing downhill" when facing pressure in the pocket are making a difference.

However, a new concern arises for the Bengals as Burrow claimed he "isn’t sure how his wrist will feel" in cold weather games, according to Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer. Burrow suffered a ligament in his wrist on Nov. 16, 2023, during the Bengals' 34-20 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
