President Joe Biden pledged another $600 million Wednesday for an ambitious multi-country rail project in Africa as one of the final foreign policy moves of his administration.

From a hillside overlooking the Bay of Corimba, President Joe Biden declared: “The future runs through Angola, through Africa.”

Biden is using his third and final day in Angola to showcase the Lobito Corridor railway, where the US and key allies are investing heavily to refurbish 800 miles of train lines in Zambia, Congo, and Angola.
