Patrick Mahomes will probably find a new way to celebrate a big play moving forward. The Kansas City Chiefs' star quarterback was fined over $14,000 by the NFL for what was deemed a "violent gesture" during Kansas City's Week 11 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

The NFL is trying to make an example out of Mahomes after what appeared to be a run-of-the-mill touchdown celebration last Sunday.

Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes will have to pony up $14,069 after the NFL fined him for unsportsmanlike conduct. According to NBC Sports, the fine stems from a “violent” gesture Mahomes made last Sunday during a touchdown celebration in a game against the Buffalo Bills.
