This week on WFAA's Friday Night Football, two of the elite private school programs in Texas high school football – Parish Episcopal and Prestonwood Christian – squared off for the second time in a month. The third round of the playoffs will resume Friday, and some familiar teams are still battling. Here's one note: If Westlake and Lake Travis prevail this week, they will face each other for the second straight year in the state quarterfinals the next week.

The West Texas high school football postseason continues as local teams continue to the area round of the bracket, hoping to advance to the regional semifinal during Thanksgiving week and the state tournament in mid-December.
