Maharashtra caretaker CM Eknath Shinde on Sunday said that he had given his full backing for BJP-led leadership in the state, following the historic mandate given to the Mahayuti alliance by the people.

Speaking to the media, he said that all three allies of the Mahayuti have a good understanding and that the CM candidate will be decided on Monday.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, a team of doctors visited Maharashtra caretaker CM Eknath Shinde at his Dare village residence in Satara district of Maharashtra, to put him on saline, after he complained of high fever.
