Naval Chief said that the Chinese Navy was manifesting itself more in the Pacific oceans and ensuring that Indian interests in the Indian Ocean are not affected

New Delhi, India - Indian Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi addressed key maritime security concerns and developments during a press conference on Monday, emphasizing the Navy's vigilant monitoring of the Chinese PLA Navy's activities in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) and ongoing modernization efforts to bolster India’s maritime strength.

Speaking about the eight submarines China was building for the Pakistan Navy, he said they will have significant combat potential and the Indian Navy was looking to have the ability to combat them.

Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi said that the Indian Navy is adapting its strategies to effectively address all potential threats from neighbouring countries.
