There was hope that he could return for Week 14 against the Buffalo Bills but Sean McVay’s update on Monday threw cold water on that idea. The Seattle Seahawks were defeated 26-20 by the Los Angeles Rams in Week 9. The NFC West rematch is scheduled for the regular-season finale in Week 18. The Rams may be near full strength for that contest, with tight end Tyler Higbee returning to practice earlier this week.

Higbee tore his ACL in the Rams’ playoff loss to the Detroit Lions in January and underwent surgery to repair the injury. He has missed all 11 of the Rams’ games this year, but has slowly been making progress with the medical staff on the sidelines rehabbing his injury while still being a vocal leader in the locker room.
