A Bangladesh court will hear Hindu priest Chinmoy Krishna Das's bail plea on December 3. Das was arrested on November 27 for sedition related to hoisting a saffron flag above the national flag. His arrest incited protests and led to the freezing of accounts linked to 17 ISKCON members,

A Chattogram court official said that the date for the hearing had already been set but the announcement was delayed due to a boycott and work abstention by lawyers on Wednesday and Thursday.
