The win earned Texas a spot in the Dec. 7 SEC Championship Game in Atlanta against Georgia. The Longhorns and Dawgs played earlier in the season and Georgia dominated the game, 30-15, Texas’ lone loss of the season. Against the Aggies, Quintreviou Wisner rushed for 186 yards on 33 carries. Arch Manning had a rugged touchdown run.

Georgia and Texas are all set to play each other for the second time this season. The Longhorns punched their ticket to the SEC Championship game on Saturday night with a win over Texas A&M while the Bulldogs learned a week ago that they’d be making their seventh trip to Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the league title game in the past eight seasons.
