Max Verstappen is officially Formula 1's fifth-ever four-time world champion after finishing fifth at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, one place ahead of rival Lando Norris

The Las Vegas Grand Prix is here and Max Verstappen can potentially seal a fourth consecutive title should he win the race, leaving Lando Norris in his wake. With only two races remaining following the street circuit in Nevada, the Dutchman started the race ahead of his McLaren rival, with George Russell on pole position.

Lando Norris insists Max Verstappen would not have won this year’s Formula 1 world championship if he was driving a McLaren. Norris saw his title hopes disintegrate at the last race in Brazil when Verstappen produced one of his best-ever drives to claim victory from 17th on the grid in wet conditions.
