OU football is hiring Washington State’s Ben Arbuckle as offensive coordinator on a three-year contract, according to an ESPN report Monday afternoon. Arbuckle spent the past two seasons as Washington State’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach and is considered one of the top young offensive minds in the country.

Arbuckle held a key role in Washington State’s offensive success, helping the unit post 36.8 points and 440.4 yards per game.

Arbuckle has led prolific passing offenses with the Wildcats, coaching Cam Ward in 2023, and at Western Kentucky
