Atlanta Falcons coach Raheem Morris sported an optimistic tone on receiver Darnell Mooney's status for Sunday's game versus the Los Angeles Chargers.

The last time we saw the Falcons take the field, they were battling numerous injuries at the defensive back position. Three of the team’s top cornerbacks did not play in Week 11 and a fourth — Kevin King — was injured during the game and did not return.

Wednesday is upon us, as the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers began practicing for Sunday’s matchup. It’s a short week for the Chargers, who played on Monday night this week, as they try to get healthy quick for their road test in Atlanta.
